Here is a picture of our 30 foot boat, Catatonic - a 1988 Gemini 3000. We are safely tied up at a dock in Beaufort, SC, having just waited for Hurricane Wilma to pass by, leaving an incredible sunset behind her.
After our 1st trip to the Bahamas 2 years ago in a 30 foot catamaran, we made our trailerable trimaran, Freebird, more cruiser-friendly. We added refrigeration, added a soft dodger and bimini for protection from the elements, etc. We are trailering her down to Stuart, Fl, launching her, and turning left at Ft. Lauderdale when a weather window opens. We plan to stay in the Marsh Harbour area for about 2 months. I will try to write weekly updates, so check on our exploits if you want!
